This was the worst thai experience I have had in a while. All of the food was cold (and chicken satay was undercooked on the inside!) The spicing in the tom yum soup was off. The pad thai came with a lemon instead of lime and seemed closer to Chinese food than any thai food I have ever seen or tasted.

The shrimp fried rice and chicken pad thai were both delicious! Will definitely be ordering again.

One of my favortie Thai places ever - definately my favorite in Queens!

Thai Elephant is one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. The fried tofu appetizer is delicious, I especially like the chili sauce that comes with it. It is sweet but with a little kick (I don't like spicy food, so what is a little kick to me may not be any kick at all to someone who likes more spice). The pad thai is great, I really like it with the tofu. Delivery is always quick and the people who work there are nice.

They went above and beyond to bring the order quickly, the food is OUTSTANDING!!!! (coming from a former Hell's Kitchen resident with 10+ Thai places, these guys are definitely among the best) Can't wait to order from them again! Thank you, Thai Elephant!!

Their pad thai is among the best I've ever tried. The owners and everyone who works there are extremely friendly. The ingredients are also always fresh. I definitely suggest making this your go-to Thai place!

The penang curry is delicious and I crave it quite often. We're also big fans of the curry puffs and pad see ew. The tom yum soup has the right amount of heat to ward off the cold weather. Thai Elephant is a reliable delivery option for tasty Thai food.

Good, basic Thai food. The portion sizes are ok, the delivery time is usually quick. The Chili Basil (with chicken!) is always pleasing, but sometimes it can be a little less flavorful than I'd like. The coconut rice is like a dessert (ok, it might actually be) and I always enjoy eating it from the Thai Elephant.

I'd normally give Thai Elephant 5 Stars; it's been our favorite Thai restaurant for months......but today (a Tuesday night after 8:30pm) they took over an hour and 15 minutes to get our order to us. ONE HOUR & 15 MINUTES!!!!!!! And they gave us nothing more than a lame "sorry". Thai Elephant we love your food but your customer service SUCKS!!!!!

Delivery is so slow which absolutely ruins the food. The delivery guy was lost and couldn't find our - townhouse - with the address and cross street clearly printed. Our lukewarm Pad Kee Mao noodles were greasy and broken up from poor cooking and the beef was chewy. Spring rolls were leaden. Curry puffs travel well and were tasty! Wave Thai is superior.

please don't say tofu is 'sauteed in peanut sauce' if you're going to just send a big plate of fried-up tofu and peanut sauce on the side. ugh.

The food here is consistently delicious when fresh. An hour after ordering it, however, it's cold and unpalatable, and that's unfortunately how it usually arrives when getting anything from Thai Elephant delivered. We've been ordering dinner from here for a very long time, but we're seriously considering getting a new regular Thai place if the service continues its long, downward spiral.

Good Food. For a while the delivery was very slow, over 1 hour waiting time, but I have not had any issues lately.

Honestly this place wasn't worth the money I spent. I ordered a Thai staple, pad thai. It was tasteless, dry and uninteresting in every way.

I woke up at 4am this morning with food poisoning from either the vegetable pad thai or the hot and sour soup. Never ordering from here again.

The Thai iced tea had a horrible burnt taste. Would not order here again.

The food was pretty good but their customer service was terrible. I ordered my meal at 7:05 and I was given a 30 to 45 minute delivery estimate and the order didn't actually come until 8:31pm, almost an hour and a half after my order. And half my food was cold by the time it came. Unacceptable. Don't think I will be ordering again unless I feel the service will be better.

Estimated 15-30 minutes for delivery and it took over an hour. The food was ice cold.

the food is good but the delivery took 1 hour plus andI live 8 blocks away...Beware as the promised 30-45 minutes is not true.

Delicious. I think this is the best Thai restaurant in Astoria and I am ridiculously picky. They are very consistent, unlike the others which are all hit or miss.
